Introduction

Hello everyone. Welcome to Dee's Blog. I'm Jacilyn, her marketing assistant and a single mama of two beautiful little angels. I have the pleasure of having Dee Rule helping us with our new baby girl. From day one, she has taken the most amazing care of our daughter and our daughter absolutely adores her. Dee has the ability to instill a tremendous amount of confidence in her Moms and she figures out how to adjust to any and all situations. She deals flawlessly with changes in our daily schedule and managed to have our little girl sleeping through the night by the time she was seven weeks old. Dee has been an absolute delight to have in our home. She is always smiling or singing. She is so good at what she does and she loves babies. She knows what every sound means and can tell from a slight grumble in the back of the throat if the baby is congested. She watches, she knows and is in tune with everything our daughter does. Beyond knowing what needs to be done with Grace, she also watches out for me. She knows when I am just too tired to go on, she knew when to give me the pass at night for feeding because I could not see straight and was recovering from a C-section. I loved that I was always met with "you need your rest...she is fine" and sent back to bed. It was during one of those nights when she sent me back to bed that I had to stop and ask Dee what she was doing. She was sitting in the dark in the living room tapping on her Palm Pilot. She said she was writing a book. I was speechless. Dee had been sitting in my living room and the wonderful family she had worked with before ours and had written an entire book on her palm. The Baby Schedule Ruler, was something that she had thought about doing for years and then one day she started to write and next thing she knew she had completed the entire book on the Palm. After reading The Baby Schedule Ruler, I was not only impressed by her ability to write, but by how she practices what she preaches and how well it works. Having her in my home, I really begin to see how her written rules transferred into the daily care of Grace. My daughter is a happy, healthy three month old, who loves Dee. Dee carries her around with such pride and Grace lights up every time Dee comes into the room. Dee is one of the kindness, most pure-hearted individuals I have ever known. She is so full of goodness and love. She has inspired me by her words of wisdom in The Baby Schedule Ruler, but she has also inspired me as a person. Just by the mere fact that she wrote this book, sitting in the dark on a Palm, should be a lesson to all of us that we can do anything if we put our minds to it. No challenge is too difficult for Dee to deal with. She is a professional through and through, but she is also so warm and so loving. Dee Rule is the perfect combination of all good things in life. She has so much wisdom and experience to offer and does her job as The Baby Schedule Ruler perfectly. Shannon
